Early one morning, a kind man found Yonka and her two pups lost and panicked on a quiet road. Thankfully, no cars were passing by, but Yonka was so emaciated it was clear she had been struggling for some time. When the man gently touched her, hope flickered in her eyes. The pups wagged their tails desperately, pleading silently not to be abandoned again.

The man brought them straight to a nearby shelter, where Yonka and her pups clung to each other, never letting go. The shelter staff immediately took them to the vet. Though emaciated, the vet confirmed that Yonka and her pups were stable and not at immediate risk.

The youngest pup, Takdi, was the first to find a new home. His brother Suarez followed soon after, both welcomed warmly by their new families. Yonka stayed at the shelter, receiving love and care, her spirit slowly lifting with a smile beginning to emerge.

Later, the police found Yonka’s former owner’s home abandoned—he had sold the house and disappeared. Inside, rescuers discovered another mother dog and her puppy in poor condition but alive. The puppy happily approached the rescuers, thrilled to see humans again, while the cautious mother soon accepted food. Both were emaciated and suffering from skin disease but had no critical health issues.

After medical treatment and 48 hours in the clinic, the pair was released to a new, loving home. The puppy even got a special bed, and within a week, the mother’s skin improved and new hair grew in. They are still on the road to full recovery but now enjoy safety and affection.

Yonka, her pups, and the newly rescued family are living proof that kindness and care can change lives—one paw at a time.
