Three Men ‘Rob’ An Elderly Couple, Unaware The Police Is Watching Them

Bronson, FL — What began as a tense moment of suspicion quickly turned into a heartwarming act of kindness when three young men assisted an elderly couple struggling to cross the street.

Officer Kenisha Carnegie was on routine patrol, observing a gas station across from her location when her attention was drawn to Rose, 89, and David Gist, 100. The couple appeared frail and unsteady as they exited the station, with Rose clutching David’s arm for support. Their slow, uncertain movements raised concern.
Suddenly, three young men exited the gas station and approached the couple. Officer Carnegie’s instincts told her to prepare for the worst, suspecting a potential robbery. However, the young men’s actions soon defied all expectations.
Instead of causing harm, the men gently supported Rose and David, helping them safely to their car. Two held Rose steady while the third guided David, their care and respect evident in every movement. After helping the couple into the vehicle, the men even offered to pump their gas.
“I saw my grandmother in her,” one of the men later explained. The trio, identified as Orlando-based rappers Jo Co Stow, Marty, and Freddy G, said they didn’t hesitate to help. Officer Carnegie recorded the scene, and with the men’s permission, shared the video on social media.
The video quickly went viral, garnering millions of views and comments. Viewers praised the young men for their compassion, challenging stereotypes and reminding many of the goodness that exists in people.
Reflecting on the day, Officer Carnegie said, “It’s not what I expected to see, but it’s exactly what we all needed to see.”
