Trump is in Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Elon Musk fired at Trump Amid Public Feud

In a dramatic escalation of tensions, billionaire Elon Musk accused President Donald Trump of being named in the Jeffrey Epstein files, claiming this is why the documents remain unreleased. The accusation, posted on X on June 5, 2025, read: “Time to drop the really big bomb:

@realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!” Musk followed up, stating, “Mark this post for the future. The truth will come out.”
The feud erupted after Musk, who recently left his role as a special advisor in Trump’s administration, criticized the president’s tax and spending bill as a “disgusting abomination.” Trump retaliated on Truth Social, alleging he asked Musk to leave and threatened to terminate government contracts with Musk’s companies, including Tesla and SpaceX, to save billions. Trump claimed Musk’s opposition stemmed from cuts to electric vehicle subsidies.
Musk, who donated over $200 million to Trump’s 2024 campaign, fired back, asserting Trump would have lost the election without his support. The public spat intensified as Musk suggested Trump’s involvement in the Epstein files, which include records related to the late financier and convicted sex offender, fuels their secrecy. No evidence supports Musk’s claim, and the White House has not responded.
The Epstein files, partially released in February 2025, contained previously public information, disappointing those expecting new revelations. Trump has denied any wrongdoing, citing a past social acquaintance with Epstein. As the feud unfolds, Tesla’s stock plummeted nearly 16%, reflecting the fallout’s impact.
